Taurus

To compliment the Gemini piece posted before this one, I've put together this composition with some Taurus symbolism.

There may still be some work and details to go on this piece, but, for now, it's going on the shelf as 'finished' until some new ideas bubble to the surface and I can safely look at this with new eyes.

If anyone knows the name of the artist of the inspiration piece, please comment so that I may give the artist proper credit for their work, and recognition for the inspiration.

Head, arms, legs, hands and feet chosen, and stitched together for a pose that works.  

The pose in the inspiration piece is nice, and really well done, but, my interest wasn't in copying it; for to compose my own interpretation and vision of something similar.

 Making chrome/metallic outfits isn't too difficult, though it can be challenging at times.  It's never as simple as just using Filter->Sketch->Chrome.  Nope.  There's some tricks and a liberal amount of free-hand with some smudge thrown in as well as layering several different versions of a chrome skin over each other at differing opacity levels with blending mixed in.

Here she is with backpack jets, gloves, and collar with breathing apparatus on chest ready to mount the fish-bowl helmet.  At this point I bleed off some of the color vivacity by adding a layer of 0000 Black set on 50% opacity with Color Blending option selected on the layer.  

Desaturatiing a piece by using a black layer at the top gives more flexibility in the level of color in a piece without losing the original level of eye-stabbing color.

Here she is minus some few tweaks to color, vibrance, highlights, shadows, detail level and a few other bits.  I had a difficult time choosing between this one, and the one posted above.  In the end, I may revert back to this one, or, combine the two through a layer of opacity, or a blending option.

Just as above, so below.  Here's the 'final' outcome.  

The Stars of the Taurus constellation are arrayed from upper left corner diagonally down to the planet  with the water filled crater.  The Pleiades are also there on the 'shoulder' of the bull.

The shape of the constellation is then mirrored back up and diagonally to the right with the space elevator counterweight, water filled crater, energy bubble on satellite, fish-bowl helmet, and the V of the jet pack.

Further, if the crater sea on the planet is looked at closer, horns have been added up top for the Taurus symbol

Several additional changes have occurred as well with a recent update.

Peace. Love and Happiness in the Universe

Below is a composition I'm working on.
It's based on some concepts forwarded by a a gentleman in Switzerland named Billy Meier, mostly as it pertains to his accounts of visitations by by human aliens in UFOs called Pleiadians who say that the universe is a universe of peace, love and happiness, and we here on Earth must grow away from our selfish destructive ways. 

Do I personally believe in UFOs and aliens of any kind?  I would love to, but, I've never seen a UFO, or had any experiences categorized as 'unexplained', so, until then, if ever, I remain a skeptic as it applies to UFOs and aliens.

Something of note; Billy Meier has been working on his mission to create a body of work with a beautiful message for well over 50 years.  Whether or not he's been in contact with extraterrestrials or experienced any of the fantastic things he claims is mostly irrelevant if you get to the core of his message.
Even if tomorrow he was proven an absolute fake in regard to the UFOs and Aliens, I'd still have tons of respect and admiration for the fellow for the beautiful message he's been working on for more than half a century.
Don't get me wrong.  I'm not a joiner.  The reason I like this Meier fellow so much is because I was already living my own version his message long before ever finding out about him or his message.  It's nice to find a kindred spirit.

*     Prints can be sold based from print number, where also the option is available to purchase exclusivity which will take the image off the market.  Purchasing exclusivity prevents any future print runs.  If you are the first to purchase a print, that print will then be unique, and the only one print in existence.  If other prints have been made previously, your purchase will be the last.
Options for limited exclusivity are also available where you may halt any future print runs for for any negotiable number of years.

I don't have anything to say, but feel the urge to post something.  I'm thus posting some compositions.  The following are nothing new, unless you haven't seen them before.  You can click on each image to see larger versions.  The following work covers 3 different models I've worked with.  These are arranged in no particular order.  Some of this is really old work, while others are more recent.

Narcissa

In attraction we desire the company and recognition of beauty.  To be recognized, embraced, and wanted in return by someone beautiful results in a selfish affirmation of worth.  What is beauty and why is it prized so highly?  Is not a deadly poison still a deadly poison no matter the artistry, and elegance of its container?  Personally, I'm a victim of desire, like most everyone, but I'm also stubborn and picky, waiting years between relationships before finding someone, like that crazy fantastic girl with the yellow scarf, having just the right balance of everything both inside and out.  Unfortunately, the attraction is not always mutual, recognized, convenient, and even more rarely ever returned, and I go for more years with only myself to try to love when no one else will.  It's so very hard to love yourself when no one else will.

It's extremely hard to love yourself when there's no one else to back that up.
Suffice to say, I'm not feeling any love, from myself, or anyone else. 

Mirror Mirror

Look into the mirror and you'll see a twinned reflection of yourself, but mirrors are tricky and they can lie.

A photograph can be more honest than the mirror, but also lie more effectively.

Look at your friends and associates.  There, you will see yourself with greater honesty, if you know how to look.

But what do digital shepherds dream of?

We're all familiar with the question and title; Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?
Any debate regarding the capability of sheep, electronic or no of dreaming, I'm going to leave alone.
Where digital shepherds are involved in herding electric sheep, however, more than of their flocks they may dream.
